Hm, where to start?

Okay, so I applied for the airport supervisor position, and I'm on the list of 5 most qualified candidates. This I know. The director asked me to fill in as 'acting' supervisor until a new one is found.

This is strange - to be actually performing in the job that you've applied for but might not get.

And today I found out that there is another extremely qualified candidate who I expect will get the job.
And yet, the decision has not been made yet, and interviews haven't been scheduled.

So here I sit. In limbo. I really hate this.

Hi there - Sadly, no word yet. I had my interview on the 6th, and am waiting. Just found out (from an email sent out by industry) that 'the supervisor has been chosen but the name has not been released'. Not that this is news, but it seems strange to read that from someone outside my agency :-/

So I'm just going to work and ... waiting.
