Okay, so I applied for the airport supervisor position, and I'm on the list of 5 most qualified candidates. This I know. The director asked me to fill in as 'acting' supervisor until a new one is found.
This is strange - to be actually performing in the job that you've applied for but might not get.
And today I found out that there is another extremely qualified candidate who I expect will get the job.
And yet, the decision has not been made yet, and interviews haven't been scheduled.
So here I sit. In limbo. I really hate this.
