Joining the Great Migration
Dec. 26th, 2011 04:44 pmHi All -
This is my first Dreamwidth crosspost. That is to say, if it works properly, it's my first Dreamwidth crosspost.
I've stuck with LJ for quite a while now, and although they have in the past caused me annoyance, the latest issues are akin to handwriting on the wall.
In general principles, I can't blame LJ for the DDOS attacks. And, I have always enjoyed supporting a service that was supportive of freedom of speech in Russia. Giving Vladimir Putin the raspberry while feeding my fannish enthusiasm seemed a good combination.
But the comment format changes, and more importantly the complete disregard and disrespect for customer's preferences and opinions has motivated me to establish myself on Dreamwidth.
So, if you're on DW, please add me -- my username is Rangersyl. I'm also on Twitter and Flickr under that username. I can also be found on Goodreads, Stumbleupon, AIM and Yahoo under Avarill. So -- look me up if you're so inclined.
Now if I can just figure out how to find a RSS feed for my reading page on DW. Does anyone know how?
