rangersylNot TOO bad of a Monday, but a Monday nonetheless. Sigh.
Dudley is molting, which means I have to press my trusty roomba into service on a daily basis. It does rather well with ubiquitous Dudley Dust, but has a tough time with the big feathers he's depositing everywhere. Hopefully this will be over soon and my sinuses will not continue to remind me that I'm allergic to my bird!
So the Mac User Group internet security and privacy presentation went pretty well. In fact, though I ran a bit over time, the audience wouldn't let me wrap up. They wanted to hear the whole thing ;)
And Saturday night I received an email from another local Mac User Group asking to me to speak at THEIR meeting on Thursday night.
Whee!
And if a Fit of Madness I agreed. Considering that once you've spent a couple weeks researching all this business and creating a powerpoint presentation, it's not too big of a deal to do a repeat performance. The hard work has already been done; and now I have an idea on how the audience will react so I can make some changes.
Oh, and Intriguing Gentleman came by on Friday to show off his (extremely professional) portfolio of photography. I was told by others in the office that he came by to show ME said photos, so there is hope here. Now I just need to come up with reasons to go visit him and chat.
Saturday is the Garber Family Reunion. We're hosting it, and running a bit behind on the schedule of preparations. Just heard news that the family vegetable is coming. *bangs head against wall* I suppose every family's got one... don't they?
