Some neighborhood kids have set up a lemonade stand in our front yard -- they want to raise money for the Red Cross. It's really a wonderful gesture, and not a small one either since my corner is probably the best lemonade stand real estate in the entire country. We donated some flags to decorate the stand and water etc. The place is as busy as a Starbuck's -- they've raised several hundred dollars in a few hours.

They ended up doing very well! Loads of people stopped by, and many drove by in their cars and just handed over money for donations. There were all kinds, bikers, bicyclers, SUVs and sports cars. Nice.
